The staff here are super nice, really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the room is totally new and comfy, even has AC to keep cool 😊.

The breakfast had plenty of delicious toast and eggs. the location in a safe neighborhood was unbeatable and met expectations. - Easy walking distance to East Point Restaurant, dined there once or twice.

I had an amazing stay at L&J Modern Backpackers Kinondoni! Sefu, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive. The room was clean and spacious, with good installations and private lockers. The patio renovations made it a wonderful place to relax. Save, the manager, went above and beyond to assist me, from picking me up to helping me with PCR testing. The staff, especially Sayid, were friendly and helpful, providing great local tips and arranging transportation. The breakfast was tasty and the WiFi worked well. The location was safe and peaceful, with easy access to the city center, airport, and beach.

Great location, just a short walk to the city center and other amenities. the beds are super comfy, and the rooms are brand-new and squeaky clean. the staff is super friendly and always ready to help out. 😊

The room wassuper clean and cozy, with a mosquito net and a functional shower. The breakfast provided was satisfactory, with eggs, toast, fruits, and coffee/tea. The location was safe and in a quiet area, with easy access to the city center and the beach. The hotel itself was well-maintained and had a nice outside seating area. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

The only drawback was a slight smell of old cigarette smoke in the room.
